About The Regional Council

The Regional Council in Kalmar County is a politically controlled organisation which deals with growth and development issues in Kalmar County. The organisation is owned by the 12 municipalities in the county in conjunction with the County Council.

The organisation´s target groups are public actors, trade and industry, non-profit organisations and residents of the county. We offer networks, coordination and financial support in order to achieve concrete goals that are beneficial to regional development. Through flexible and effektive work methods, we develop new methods for cooperation between different actors, on a regional, national and international level.

The Regional Council in Kalmar County is a collective force promoting regional development.
